About MAIC

Accurate Diagnoses.
Coordinated Recovery.

What We Are
Metropolitan Accident & Injury Center is a dedicated personal injury operation inside Medalliance Medical Health Group's 60,000 sq ft Article 28 licensed facility in the Bronx — restructured from the ground up to serve PI attorneys and their clients at a standard general medicine cannot match.
What We're Not
A general practice that added a PI department. A clinic that adapted its intake form and called it specialization. We are operationally purpose-built for personal injury — dedicated team, dedicated documentation standards, dedicated accountability to the attorneys who refer.

The Story

Why MAIC Exists

Medalliance Medical Health Group has operated one of the Bronx's largest Article 28 licensed medical facilities for years — 60,000 square feet, an in-house ambulatory surgery center, on-site MRI, and a full multispecialty clinical team.

Personal injury care was part of that operation. But personal injury medicine has demands that general medical care simply doesn't face: attorneys are your primary referral channel, documentation is legal evidence, speed of access has case consequences, and reporting turnaround carries professional stakes.

Running PI as a department inside a larger organization produces a department-level result. The same intake process, the same documentation workflow, the same front desk handling a general medical patient and a MVA referral from a PI attorney simultaneously.

The decision was made to restructure. Metropolitan Accident & Injury Center was rebranded and rebuilt as a standalone operation — dedicated team, dedicated operations director, dedicated documentation standards, and a dedicated attorney liaison program. Not a department. A focused operation inside a world-class facility.

Dr. Noam Sadovnik, DC was brought in as Director of Operations to build the systems that make the SLA commitments real — same-day access, 24-hour documentation, named liaisons, IME rebuttal infrastructure. Everything PI attorneys actually need, operationalized.

The Difference

What Separates MAIC
from the Alternatives

Attorneys have options. Here's why the ones who refer to MAIC don't go back to the way it was before.

01
Purpose-Built Operations
Every process at MAIC was designed for personal injury — not adapted from general medicine. Intake, documentation, scheduling, and reporting all reflect the specific demands of PI work.
vs. General practices that added PI as a revenue stream
02
Named Accountability
Your cases have a named person accountable for them — a liaison with a direct line, not a general front desk. When something needs to happen, you know who to call and they pick up.
vs. Rotating staff with no case ownership
03
Litigation-Ready Documentation
Reports include causation narratives, functional loss assessments, and peer-reviewed support — built for what happens in a courtroom, not just what satisfies a clinical record requirement.
vs. Clinical notes reformatted for attorneys after the fact
04
Full Continuity Under One Roof
MRI, X-ray, EMG, specialist consult, physical therapy, and ambulatory surgery — all at one location, building one complete medical record. No records chasing across multiple providers.
vs. Fragmented care spread across multiple facilities
05
IME Rebuttal Infrastructure
Insurance carrier IMEs that contradict treatment get a formal physician rebuttal — peer-reviewed, signed, and delivered within 5 business days. We don't let denials stand unchallenged.
vs. Clinics that accept IME findings without response
06
Bronx Community Fluency
Full bilingual operations — Spanish-speaking clinical and administrative staff, bilingual patient documentation, and patient communication in the language that works for them. Not a courtesy. A core capability.
vs. English-only practices serving a majority Spanish-speaking borough
